My children listen to the audiobooks of this series, narrated by Stockard Channing (who does an amazing job), nearly constantly. I read all of these as a child and it is so wonderful to revisit now. Many of the books I read as a kid haven’t aged well in terms of the messages they give my kids, but the Ramona series feels so timeless for all the best reasons. It has wonderful hilarious stories, great examples of modern marriage, parenting and sibling relationships, and one of the greatest literary characters of all time in Ramona Geraldine Quimby.
