I loved this book so much!!! What the author said about Evie and Milo is true: she’s prickly and he’s a cinnamon roll. In the end I loved them both and I’m so glad that they got together in the end. Kristina Forest had me scared for a second with the way things ended in New York. Gigi was a great character and I definitely got the vision of the late Diahann Carroll when I pictured her. I actually pictured the late Ossie Davis when I thought of James Jenkins. I loved the friendship between the members of Milo’s band, Doves Have Pride. That is also a great band name. This book overall was a great romance and mystery. Kristina Forest has done it again!
