Wild About You by Kaitlyn Hill

4.0

This story follows a young woman who is off to a race outdoors for a reality tv show and her partner is a grumpy man. I’ve read Hill’s previous novel but I have to say that I enjoyed this book a lot more. I loved the storyline that Hill created and it was so well-written. I do have to say that for me personally, the reality tv show challenges were kind of hard to keep up like like stops mainly. If there was a map in the book, that would have been so helpful and very easy to imagine. I did enjoy the mental health awareness for this book and how these young women and men never gave up. This story only follows Natalie’s pov.

Natalie is the FMC of this story who is looking to earn the prize to pay for her college. I loved her character and how she was such a bright person. I do wish we got to see her parents in the book but I’m glad to see her find new friends that are her family. Then we have Finn, who I wish we got his pov but I still liked his character. He’s there for his own reason but I loved how began to fall in love with Natalie. There are many side characters in this book and I loved the new friends of Natalie. The romance in this book is grumpy x sunshine and one bed which was so well done.

The epilogue was well done but I do have to say that the ending kind of dragged a bit. The story was well done and I loved the campaign/ reality show storyline of this book. It was fun and very enjoyable. I recommend checking this book out because you won’t want to miss out.
