Paul Tremblay is rapidly becoming one of my favourite authors, with this book being the third one I read so far.

This book did not disappoint either! I loved the story and the characters, each progressing rapidly.

I love any story where some sort of virus or illness takes over the world and this virus was something different and scary! The fact you see the virus progress in a quick and unrelenting death through Natalie's eyes is harrowing, but amazing. Ramola doing everything in her power to save Natalie and her baby even though she knows the chances of Natalie surviving is slim to almost non-existing is dreadful.

This story has a lot of elements I really enjoyed and I can't wait to dig into other stories of Tremblay!
