Strange the Dreamer by Laini Taylor

I have not annotated a book since high school, however, I did for this one. I had heard that Laini Taylor was an amazing writer and that her stories were amazing and I was not disappointed. This is the first book of hers that I have read and I am so excited to keep going. I LOVED Lazlo Strange. I felt such a connection to his character. Head always in books and living inside the stories that he cherishes, always wondering. The plot was so interesting and it just kept pulling me in further and further. I loved the introduction of the godspawn and how they each had such distinct personalities. I could not put this down and I have already queued up Muse of Nightmares because this was left on such a good continuing plot. I was worried that there wasn't a need for a second book because I had trouble seeing how the conflict that was created could not have been resolved, but I stand corrected. The story is not over yet and I am so excited to dive back into this world and find out what happens next.
