A collection of poetic tales about the human body, and through it; love, sex, death and dark impulses. The first story follows survivors fleeing an apocalypse that claims their dwindling numbers via ghastly transformations. They are plagued by hunger, and surrounded only by the twisted flesh of their fallen… 

The collected shorts vary between the fascinatingly macabre, and the outright bizarre, and I very much enjoyed.
