At first I really wasn’t sure I could make it through the whole book, but I ended up being drawn into the world of Libby Day. By the end I couldn’t put it down.
At times, the descriptive style was off-putting because of its pessimism and the way it painted the world. I think that was the point though. However, the plot was fantastic and had twists I never saw coming. The characters were interesting and original. Overall, I’d say this book is worth the read.
Take a serious look at the content warnings because triggering themes and situations are abundant in this book.
