Probably 75% porn/romance and 25% plot, but damn if it wasn’t a fun read! I had a lot easier of a time picturing Wes than Jamie, but the POV switches were pretty smooth and didn’t bother me as much as they sometimes do in books like this with constant POV changes.

Multiple characters are homo/queerphobic and use slurs. There’s also a weird thing where the coaches usually refer to their male hockey students as “ladies” in a way that seems to be a sort of joke, and the main characters use the term “chicks” frequently.
