the story of a god and his last believer, a story of love, friendship, struggles, wins, losses. i can't believe it took me so long to want to read this, but i'm so so so so glad this moment came. i'm bursting with happiness, just thinking about xie lian and hua cheng, about how much these two characters love each other, about how loyal they are to each other, and about how genuinely great they are, even when they're apart - of course, they're a set, you don't SEPARATE them, but each scene with each one of them is just so awesome. not only them, too. every character here has a meaning, a goal, a reason for you to root for them, for you to want them to exist in the world you're reading.
it's difficult to think of how to put in words how amazed i am by this, but i really really really am amazed. i'll come back and reread many of those parts again and again, and i hope to bring these characters and their world with me.
