Well-written. King knows how to craft a sentence; that's for sure. Scenery, character description, small town life, all beautifully done. The plot is reminiscent to Dracula. I must ask though: how is this scary or considered horror? Was anyone actually afraid reading this??
Graphic: Alcoholism, Animal death, Body horror, Child abuse, Death, Physical abuse, Violence, Blood
Moderate: Rape, Sexual violence
