This was so bad it was almost a full circle moment to being fun again. I loved to hate it.

To begin with, the writing is terrible. Really flowery but gross, a bunch of weird similes in every chapter. Some sort of Christmas theme, but all equally dumb enough to draw you out the story completely.

The characters or so incredibly flat. Our Mary Sue protagonist's main personality traits is that she really likes corsets. Our second most fleshed out character has a cat. Tom is a counselor. They're just such caricatures or completely empty, or both. Incredibly irritating.

The riddles were ass too. Kinda riddles you'd only ever solve if you were conveniently completely synced with your weird aunt's brain. There was no point in trying to solve along cos we never had the information we needed to get it.

I will give it to the author that it was incredible to have a book where every girl is atleast a little gay. Excellent fictional universe. Go go corset bi ladies!
