Everneath by Brodi Ashton
5.0

To be honest, a couple months ago, I was looking for books that were great for YA (such as me), and had a good plot. I found a big list of books that I wanted to read, but only about 10% of them were available to me (due to the fact that I live in a smaller area, and most of the books were not in any of the libraries in my county). When I found out that this book was in the city library, I immediately had my mom take me to check out the book.
I have never read a book such as this one. In fact, I have never stuck with on genre, as I read a lot of books. I really liked Everneath because I found that, even though it's fiction, I could relate to some of the things that happened in this book, and that life consists of tough choices. I feel that no one really gets a second chance to say goodbye, and she was a lucky one who actually got a second chance, even though it meant paying a price. I would recommend this book to kids in maybe 8th grade and above, since it does have some tough words.
