One Day in December by Josie Silver
2.0

Normally I'm fine with cheesy cute romances, but this one I just couldn't get into. It was also way too much like a poor knock-off of "One Day" by David Nicholls, which I could not stop thinking about while reading this one. The characters in Silver's book were very flat, Lu was super annoying and contradictory (says things like she never cries but then proceeds to spend about 30% of the story crying and drinking wine), and their "love" and "connection" was just super unrealistic to me. Sure, the ending was cute and predictable, but by then I didn't really care if they ended up together or not. I kind of wish they hadn't.
