The Miracle Morning for Writers: How to Build a Writing Ritual That Increases Your Impact and Your Income (Before 8AM) by Hal Elrod, Honoree Corder, James Altucher, Steve Scott

3.0

I listened to the audiobook of The Miracle Morning for Writers, which I think was a mistake. While the performance was fine, there were issues with the recording (for example, Chapter 8 has the track repeating over itself, and there was no way to fix it, so I missed the end of that chapter). Additionally, there are lots of great resources mentioned, but it's just website names and tiny.url links read out loud. This is not helpful if you actually want to go back and review the content at the websites mentioned (especially since no clarity is given with spelling).

The content of the book, though, was interesting and helpful. There's a very heavy emphasis on self-publishing and self-marketing, so if you're interested in the more traditional publishing models, it's not as beneficial. There's still some info, but it's much more limited (and the author does point out that it's not their preferred method of publishing).
