The Hit by S.R. Jones

5.0

I was still crying when I started this book (cause The Gift just tore at my heart) and the beginning of The Hit wasn't any happier.

Thank the lord that I didn't have to read long before things looked like they would work out. I say looked like, cause there are a few twists that keep you on your toes and sometimes even I would start to wonder if my love-bugs would end up together.
They did, not giving anything away guys. We all know out romances need HEA, otherwise what's the point of all the heartache and build up? And this book has all of that.
I truly do love Andrius as one of my favorite male leads in a romance. He's rough and hard and not the person that you should want, but dang! If S.R. Jones didn't write him so freaking well. And Violet, little Zaika, she's just such a strong female lead, even when she acts like a "stupid" girl sometimes (you can't really blame her. She's had a rough go).

Anyways, I did tear up a bit at the end but I was SOOOOO HAPPY with the end. I want to read the whole series again.......
