It's freezing cold out here where I live & obviously a perfect weather to read this book. Maybe that's one of the reasons why I've enjoyed it this much, just sitting in the cold weather shivering, reading about some people stranded in an isolated part of the French Alps.

The thrill was incredible, I can count on one finger how many books gave me chills like this one. Had my full concentration from the very beginning till the ending, never once faltering. I couldn't even realise this is the debut novel of Allie Reynolds. Her writing style is perfect and completely professional.

I felt like I was watching the characters in front of my eyes. Feeling every moment, every bit of the tension building up, up... until all came crashing down. The plot development was smooth too, very pleasant to read. Totally satisfying 5 stars.
