I thought this book was going to be about the inner workings of The Herd and the women behind it. A sort of what happens when you girl boss too hard. Instead it was about four frenemies and their toxic friendships with each other. The characters were very flat with no redeeming qualities so it was very hard to care about what happened to them. The twist at the end was predictable and unimaginative because
of course there was a backstabbing that lead to an actual stabbing! That's what friends are for.
