Nerdy Birdy doesn't get much respect from the trio of cool birds he thinks of as friends, so when a group of other geeky birds invite him to hang out with them, he jumps at the chance.
When another misfit bird tries to hang out with the cool birds, Nerdy Birdy tries to bring the new bird into his group of nerd birds, but, surprisingly, they pass judgment on the new bird in an exclusive way. Nerdy Birdy decides for himself to extend friendship to the new bird as well as any reader feeling a little misplaced.
I like the message and can see myself recommending this book quite a book based on the subject.
