It could've been better. I LOVED Daisy. LOVED LOVED LOVED. I liked Evelyn. Malibu? It was ok. Maybe a bit more than just ok but still. My expectations were definitely too big.
Its not a bad story. Far from that. I loved the Malibu setting, the 80s vibe, the whole surfboardong background and the siblings relationship. I did also quite enjoy all the party craziness even though I dodnt actually cared about the details about all the new characters, aka random people. Honestly, I skimmed through most of those parts.
What I didnt like is the characters. Most of them, at least. Some of them were pretty bland. Jay for example. Nina, up till the end. Most of the women were portrayed like totally incapable of thinking with their own heads when it comes to relationships with men. And it pissed the s*** out of me.
