Bandette, Volume 1: Presto! by Paul Tobin

2.0

Part of me feels like I should have liked this more than I did. Full-color, superhero/French-style Tintinesque heisty stylized hero story, I think I was even the person who asked our library system to purchase this in the first place.
But in the crowded field of redhead femaleish gumshoe-types ([b:Harriet the Spy|232576|Harriet the Spy (Harriet the Spy #1)|Louise Fitzhugh|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1431235447s/232576.jpg|1429939]! [a: Jason Little|99512|Jason Little|https://s.gr-assets.com/assets/nophoto/user/u_50x66-632230dc9882b4352d753eedf9396530.png]'s Bee!), [b: The Adventures of Superhero Girl|16231347|The Adventures of Superhero Girl|Faith Erin Hicks|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1422424694s/16231347.jpg|22223422] won my heart. And this left me feeling flat.
