A Lush and Seething Hell by John Hornor Jacobs

I didn't really know what cosmic horror was before I began these two novellas, and I'm sorry to say that after finishing, I'm still not really sure (things that you can't see are scary?) Jacobs's writing is strong and lush itself, but these stories held too much body horror for me. I might check out more of the author's work in future, but I'd have to do some research to see if body horror is as prevalent as it is in this work.
