This book was phenomenal, I loved every bite of it, the plot, the concept, the divergence between the races, the opposition, the fear of the unknown and how the MMC was so determined to make her understand that she had already found her mate.
Margot is a healing witch but due to how powerful she is, her magic is affecting her way too soon, without any other choice, she decided to follow her instinct and move to San Francisco to find the person who will save her - her fated mate. Little did she know that she first would have to survive a bomb explosion. Theodore is the new Sovereign of the Elves Protectorate, displeased by the fact that his consort almost died, he still jumps on the opportunity to bring her to his Tower, he plans to court her but now that the pull has started, he doesn’t have much time before he cannot resist to it anymore and mate with her.
As they discover more about each other, their lifestyle, their culture, they both feel as they were made for each other and not even Margot’s secret will come between them.
Theodore was such a strong MMC, he has this total devotion for her, he calms her, reassures her, supports her ! He’s definitely a man how we like it, and the obsessive, dominant side of the elves is really hot !!!
I cannot wait to read more about this series, next Viktor and I’m soooo curious about poor Sam, but also Alric.
