A well written and entertaining romance book with some amazing characters. I love Noah, Shay and Gennie sm, their little family holds a place in my heart. I loved the grace that was shown to all three of them and the issues they have to face throughout the book, and I loved seeing the support they gave to one another.

I think for me the plot wasn’t as strong as I would have liked, I maybe would’ve preferred for there to be a little more focus on Shay’s farm (seeing as it was the whole reason she agreed to the scheme) but I didn’t think we spent enough time there, nor did we spend much time with the characters as they fixed it up to make it new. It felt very focused on Noah and Gennie, which was nice, but I think I would’ve liked a little more balance there.

However we do get to see lots about Shay’s struggle with self worth and abandonment issues and I thought that was really well done and I thoroughly appreciated their inclusion in a romance novel. Shay felt completely realistic to me and I loved it. Also love to see another funky earring girlie.

Overall defs recommend this book if it sounds remotely up your alley, some parts made me chuckle out loud.
