meervanrens 's review for:
Walking Disaster
by Jamie McGuire
I first want to apologize for my poor English, it's not my first language and although I can read and understand it perfectely, my writing is not as good as I want it to be... (Thank you dyslexia) ;-)
So, I'll just keep it short to overcome my first review on Goodreads stress ;-)
But OMG, after finishing Beautiful Disaster I found out there was a 2nd book, this time from Travis POV. Goodreads could not have made me happier last night!
I think this version is even better then BD, I really enjoyed reading a YA novel from a men's POV. Travis turned out to be exactely the men I was imagining him to be while reading BD. An insecure, mildly traumatized and hot headed guy, who's madly in love with Pigeon/Abby.
The whole "I'm not good enough for you" thing they've got going on is kind of irritating, but the fact that this book kept me from my very boring study session and gave me the evening off I desperately needed made it worth while.
