I don't know how to feel about this book. Yes, it made me sob but I acknowledge that my own vulnerability and experiences right now made me particularly vulnerable to it. Sometimes it felt too personal, too close, and sometimes it felt like eavesdropping on a conversation at the next table. I had the following written down, "maybe this is the story of two people who committed to each other very young and didn't survive one another's changes" and "I worried about grinding my people down."
