Firsts Impressions

The concept was very interesting really, it kept me reading till the end.

In this one I had a very cool approach to the vampire myth, a destined travel to Romania will set everything in motion for Nicoletta our protagonist and her friends.

I loved that it took place in an unconventional place than usual being set in romania instead of the states but I liked that a lot.

The plot was pretty straightforward and give you something to look out for in the story and there was some tension in very specific places it kept me on edge wanting to know more.

Characters

One thing I liked about this one, is that well the characters are very nicely done, Nicoletta is a very normal girl in perspective she has some cool things because of her genetics but she bleeds, cry and laugh, like any other girl so it was easy to connect to her in a way.

The characters they go through hell and back in this one not necessarily bad, life is like that some people have it rough others not so much so in that regard it was nice that it wasn’t pink roses in every step.

Final Thoughts

At the end I was invested already and enjoyed the book a lot, it dragged a little at times but it contributed to the overall story , i did find some typos or errors here and there but i received an arc for this one so could have been that.

The idea was interesting with the voinocos and vanators and the little village, but in a way it left you thinking are the legends real?
