Four Weddings and a Swamp Boat Tour by Erin Nicholas

4.0

This was a really good read, and the writing flowed well from start to finish. I wasn't a fan of Paige at the beginning of the story. While I get that she wanted to do things on her terms, she knew how Mitch felt about her. I thought it was cruel that she wanted to stay for 7 months, but not want Mitch to think it meant anything. It was hard to watch Mitch walk on egg shells and worry about everything that was said, so that it didn't scare Paige away. Mitch was a great guy, and I loved that he loved his family so much. It was sad to think that he thought he had to earn their love, but I understand how it got that way. Paige eventually realizes that she was over the top in the way she was acting, and I was really thankful for that. The Landry family never disappoints, and the scene at the end when Ellie talks to Mitch about the family was great. The ending was perfect for these 2, and I can't wait to get to know even more members of the Landry family!
I voluntarily read an advanced readers copy of this book.
