What an end to the series. I don't want to say too much and spoil it, but it Xander and Derek ending this amazing series was perfection. And this books wrecked me in the best ways. The emotions in the story are big, enhanced by how attached to the characters I already was as a reader. - I'm sure i could be read as a standalone but it would definitely be a huge benefit to understanding Xander to have read the previous books in the series first.
