The Lazy Gardener by Mara Grey
4.0
This was a very nice little book that I've been meaning to read for ages. It would make a great gift for a beginning gardener. The chapters stand on their own as fun essays on things like 'Starting a Garden from Scratch', 'Do You Really Want Vegetables?', 'Covering Some Ground: Mulches and Ground Covers', and my very favorite: 'Gardener's Guilt (and How to Cure It).
Lazy gardeners work with plants that need little attention, tolerate more chaos in their gardens, and enjoy themselves more And you have a different (less controlling) relationship with your environment, to boot.
