Basically the same thoughts for this book except that I lowered the rating. I do love the family this series is getting into but there relationship was 90% sex and 10% surface level connection.

Steam: 4.5/6 🔥
I really enjoyed this book! I loved the novella and how it opened into this new series. I am very excited to hear the stories from the rest of the brothers, especially Flynn 🥰
I loved the beginning of this book. Their meet cute was perfect and I found myself instantly hooked and rooting for them! I loved the chemistry between Jude and Sophie. I loved the steam 🥵
My issue did lie in the emotional connection. To be honest I didn’t see much of an emotional connection for the first half or so of the book. Which is fine as long as it’s shown more later but I just felt it was lacking. They seemed to share some bits and pieces of what seemed like surface level personal information.
I did enjoy it overall though and I hope that Max Monroe continue with this level of steam! I’m here for it 🙌🏻
