Did not finish book. Stopped at 57%.

My loan ran out and then I realized I didn’t care enough to renew it. I loved the first two books in the series and couldn’t get enough, but it started to feel like a hit of a chore to read after that. I made it through book 3 hoping this one would get better, but the repetition and superficial character development really got to me. It almost felt like the author lost her voice and her way after the second book, which is unfortunate because I really was invested.
