I maintain that the writing (stylistically, grammatically, etc.) is bad. Also, I excused the lack of worldbuilding in the first two books because the FMC was trying to hide her past, gift, background, and trauma from the MMCs. However, now she’s told all her secrets, the plot holes and lack of worldbuilding is more inexcusable. I will keep reading the series, because the story is gripping and I’m still having fun reading it, but the writing and worldbuilding is bad.
