I think this will turn out to be a great introduction to the world of Morrighan. And what an interesting world that is! Pearson's writing is engaging and just descriptive enough, and the story she tells has me yearning for more. However, I think this first novel could've held more action and twists. I saw a great deal of the ending coming, but the fact it's YA might explain that.
Props to the narrators, they brought the characters to life in an amazing way.
