This one might not be fully 4 stars, but it was still very enjoyable and easy to listen to.
I absolutely love the relationship between Laurence and Temeraire. Temeraire is generally so funny and Laurence only ever has his welfare in mind.
The plot in this one is a bit uneven. Most of it is the boat journey to China. There is still plenty of action as Laurence seems to be attacked constantly as his bond with Temeraire is attempted to be severed.
And while the ending of this one is a bit far fetched, I'm very much attached to these characters and will be continuing the series immediately!
