Amy & Roger's Epic Detour by Morgan Matson

THIS BOOK DID NOT LIVE UP TO ITS REVIEWS ANS RATINGS. i did not hate this book but i also whatsoever did not love this book. yes, it made me feel like i was also on the road trip with them but it was too repetitive and it was the same thing over and over again. i got bored SO EASILY. i know this is a contemporary/ teen fiction book but this is also a teen love story. THE ROMANCE HAPPENED AT THE 3RD TO LAST CHAPTER. so, you're telling me that i read 300+ pages of them in a car together and only had 20 pages of romance? the first 300 pages were basically about him still being in love with Hadley and her sitting there listening to him. he drove to Colorado to see Hadley but she wasn't even there. then they drove to Kentucky to see her and they eventually broke up. this is not what i was expecting. i recommend this to 11 year olds honestly.
