Murder at the Book Club by Betsy Reavley

3.0

This book kept me guessing the whole entire time of WHO DID IT? I went into this book sort of blind since it was Book of the Month for the book club that I am in. I was not expecting this book to be this good, especially since this was my first time reading anything by Betsy Reavley. It started off kind of slow for me, but since it was in a different part of the country I appreciated the world building and defining the characters and their personalities, additionally some of the terms and verbiage would throw me for a loop which is the reason I gave it 3 stars. Once the action started happening left and right with the different characters I was all in and invested in seeing whom the murder was!

Tropes: mystery, betrayal, revenge, murder, disappearing weapons, red herrings and unique locations of the murder.

The killer is someone I never suspected, but had an inkling from the way she acted in the book with the other ladies, along with her reaction during a meeting with one of the characters! Watch your back, you never know if you are in a book club with a murderer!
