Sometimes I read a young adult book and I remember why I don't read young adult. This book is written by someone who's vampire knowledge goes really no further than twilight (which is arguably the in vampire lore), the book itself is riddled with pop culture references and the characters don't go much deeper than the fiction tropes they're based on.

I bet this is a fun time for someone, but that someone is not me.
