A final redemption made in the last chapter to solve the mystery of Hell House. Otherwise, I found this book to be rather repetitive and boring. HOW MANY TIMES DO YOU NEED AN OPPORTUNITY TO LEAVE AND YOU COME BACK?? Dr Barrett is trash and narcissistic. Florence was okay, a bit deluded in her beliefs. Edith is insufferable and refuses to seek any independence. Ben, the hero, is still a nitwit seeking some sort of self redemption after everything goes to shit. This book could have been shorter and had more hints toward the mystery.
