If You Could See Me Now by Cecelia Ahern

2.0

It took me a long time to finish reading this book. Basically I was forcing myself to finish it so that I am able to read new books and I want to see maybe I would like it at last, but I didn't. The ending of the story is just unsatisfactory as the former part.
The author wanted to write an imaginary love story. However, she didn't explain it well. There are so many unreasonable plots. For example, in one chapter Ivan was invisible to Elizabeth, and in the next chapter, without any explanation,Elizabeth saw him. And they fell in love strangely and out of blue.
I wonder if Ivan was able to eat pizza, then why his boss Opal could not use pen and paper to communicate with her lover?
Moreover, the ending was disappointing. Ivan was invisible to Elizabeth forever and he expressed his love for her (but she didn't know it,he just said it to himself). So it's a bad ending I think. Are they just the same as Opal and Geoffrey? Until Elizabeth die? I don't think this ending has meaning.
Well, maybe I'm too realistic and not imaginative at all, but at least a story should be logical and reasonable, or it will just be nonsense to me.
I'm so regretful for buying this book, it really waste my money and time.
