Midnight Purgatory by Nicole Fox

5.0

With this phenomenal book, Nicole Fox has once again proven herself. She truly is the undisputed queen of mafia romances. I have no idea exactly how she does it, yet she consistently turns out flawless novels. Midnight Purgatory, just like Nicole's previous books, captivates readers from start to finish. Her ability to intricately weave together complex characters and gripping plotlines is truly unmatched in the genre. With each new book, she continues to solidify her reign as the ultimate authority on mafia romances, leaving fans eagerly anticipating what she has in store next. I feel like I say this every time, but this time I wholeheartedly mean it. Uri and Alyssa are my favourite Nicole Fox book couple. Even though Uri and Alyssa might not be having the best time together at the moment, it's clear that, deep down, they do care for each other. Their chemistry is undeniable, and the way Fox delves into their emotional turmoil kept me on the edge of my seat. Despite the challenges they face, there's a sense of hope that they will find a way to overcome their obstacles and find happiness together. However, as much as I adored Uri and Alyssa, it was Uri's younger siblings, Polly and Lev, who stole my heart. Lev has such a beautiful soul, and I adore him with all my heart. I truly hope that everything in his life works out for him. Now Polly, who doesn't love a sassy 14-year-old, wants to put everyone in their place. She has such a fierce personality and strong determination, and I can't wait to see more of her. As much as I hate for it to be over, I can't wait to get stuck in book two.
