Outgrowing God: A Beginner’s Guide by Richard Dawkins
5.0
Richard Dawkins remains one of the finest thinkers and this work of his does not disappoint. From the time of God delusion book he has surely evolved a lot and this shows in his work. This book is amazingly written with connecting each narrative across grander scheme of things. The best part about the book is crucial partition of topic into religion and evolution. In the first part he goes on to give some invaluable insights into the drawbacks of all major religions( primarily focusing on christianity). The second part of the book might sound too biological but then Dawkins is able to strike a fine balance. I think we should take our courage in both hands, grow up and give up on all Gods. Well outgrowing God seems to be a necessity in current ages rather than just an intellectual feat.
