In Search of Mary Shelley: The Girl Who Wrote Frankenstein by Fiona Sampson

3.0

(I didn't fully finish this, I basically just read up to a little bit after the publication of Frankenstein) I think this is a really good biography! Besides a few too many lists of names and works, the prose is lovely and captures Mary Shelley's life in a way that feels familiar to the modern reader, but resonates with her as a product of her time.
