This book is totally not a conventional romance. It’s not sweet or sappy. I’m not totally convinced Calvin’s in love with Hallie so much as he’s obsessed and possessive. And Hallie is possibly suffering from Stockholm. But I enjoyed the story.
Calvin is obsessed with Hallie and Hallie has always wanted that in a man. I guess that is their version of love.
