This feel good romance was very cute! It was a love letter to NYC (which I always love.) While enjoyable, a little too rosy for my taste- I prefer romances with a bit more conflict and real life to them. But if you want a feel good modern romance, look no further!

Eve gets unexpectedly pregnant after a one night stand and decides she can do this alone. Her best friend Willa is struggling with her own infertility and isn’t quite the pillar Eve thought she’d be - enter Shep, Willa’s brother who is eager to help. Eve is trying to figure out how to navigate co parenting with her one night stand Ethan which is complicated as her feelings for Shep grow.

Friends to lovers and unexpected pregnancy are not my favorite romance tropes, but they were well done here. I really liked the pacing of this novel, it did not feel rushed. I just wish there was little more oomph to this one personally. Eve was kinda floating throughout the novel, not making decisions or identifying her emotions. Shep and Ethan were pretty darn perfect and unrealistic male MCs. All in all an enjoyable but forgettable read for me.
