"The Hidden One" is the 14th book in the Kate Burkholder series by Linda Castillo and did not disappoint.
In this Mystery Thriller, Kate travels to Pennsylvania's Kishacoquillas Valley, where the Amish culture differs dramatically from the traditions she knows. Here, she tries to solve the mystery of who killed Amish bishop Ananias Stoltzfus, who seemingly disappeared without a trace, until his remains are found. This case is close to Kate because her first love, Jonas Bowman, is the accused.
I've been dying to read this book, and it didn't disappoint. I fell in love with the Kate Burkholder series because she was so easy to like and understand, and the writing was phenomenal. This is another amazing book from Linda Castillo that I'd recommend everyone to read!
