• very quiet book; almost serene
• interesting mc! you don’t often see a pregnant mc! idk how realistic it is but oh well
• my theory is the fevered become so when they attach themselves to their past, perhaps their identity with capitalism or the opposite?? and the mc is never fevered bc she has always been untethered to anything 
• I liked the way the story was told unchronologically, interesting story telling — def signified the beginning and ends of two stories 
• not sure what to take away much tho LOWK like idk
