Resisting the Running Back is a best friends to lovers romance that was swoony. When Sophie and her boyfriend break up Miller doesn’t hesitate to drop everything and be there for her. I love that he was supportive of her and that they were able to overcome the doubts they had over their future. I enjoyed seeing them did their happy ending! 

Kelsey Navarro Foster and Tor Thom narrate this book in dual narration. Kelsey portrays both Sophie’s sweet personality while also making you feel her emotions of her future with Miller. Tor does great at portraying Miller’s love for Sophie for all of their friendship and his insecurities with finding out about his real father and how they affect his relationship with Sophie. They both do a great job bringing Sophie and Miller to life.
