I found this book gave me a really eye opening non-western perspective on European life and the deep neo-colonial power structures which shape the experiences of migrants, international students and professionals abroad. I did get a little lost at points but that’s probably a reflection on me not the author. Great mix of prose and poetry to tell the narrative which was great! Wish it was more common
