Everything, Everything
by Nicola Yoon
"Maybe growing up means disappointing the people we love."
This book pleasantly surprised me. I was a bit hesitant going into it because I didn't read the blurb close enough. I thought Maddy had a form of anxiety and it was going be another one of those girl-meets-boy/boy-saves-girl type of books. Which annoy the hell out of me. But thankfully, it was not. It has a good blend of emotions.
I didn't love it, but I also didn't hate it. Just one of those books that falls in the middle somewhere.
