I loved this book even though I haven't read any of the other books in the Stormlight Archive. There were a few details that confused me due to this, but nothing that I couldn't intuit. I loooove the main character and her familiar, and the way information about her is revealed through the book. Now to wait weeks on the hold list for the first book in the series, haha.
